VPK Graduation

My middle skittle was born six weeks early. He was four pounds at birth. He is a professional button pusher, but also super smart. He started school when he was three in the special needs preschool class because he was delayed in speech and some fine motor skills. The program is for three, four and five year olds, so I just thought he wouldn't do VPK this year and would do another year of I-peeps. Well, after many conversations with his learning team, my husband and my own support team of moms, we put Middle into VPK. This kid thrived! He can read and his motor skills seem all caught up. But the best part of VPK is the friends he is making. His friends from I-peeps are all in kindergarten so we don't get to see them as much anymore.

One day, Middle came home and told me he started a band. Since then, those boys have been glued at each others sides. They are the sweetest group of boys. So, off to kindergarten they go. Here's to hoping they all get in the same class again next year.
